Released yesterday, the 23rd of September, ‘Picture’ is the new release from singer-songwriter Pearl. The four track album is the follow-up to ‘Stop The World’.
‘Picture’ is out now and is available to stream and download here.
Following the release of ‘Stop The World’ earlier this year, Pearl has continued to be busy in the studio, and unveils to her fans the new album, ‘Picture’, a unique blend of classical music, musical theatre, and indie pop.
‘Picture’ sees Pearl examine themes such as hope, human emotions, and the intricacies to be found in modern life.
Ethereal and playful, Pearl’s vocals manage to draw the listener in without their knowing; we instantly become unable to resist her charms, as she takes a humorous, often satirical, look at life.
It’s clear that Pearl has taken inspiration from the likes of Kate Bush, and Enya, but there’s also elements that feel inspired by Sia, and Muse. ‘Picture’ is short but sweet, and worth a listen.
‘Picture’ is out now and is available to stream and download here. You can find out more about Pearl and her music online on Instagram, and Spotify.
