Teen Mom star Mackenzie McKee shares twin girls with her husband, Khesanio Hall. The fate of the hit MTV reality series is up in the air, but fans are still following the cast. Now, they are slamming Mackenzie for forcing her twins into a painful tradition, but what did the mom of five do? Keep reading for more details.
Mackenzie McKee’s Parenting In Question
When Mackenzie McKee met Khesanio Hall, the Teen Mom star knew that he was someone special. Yet, she also knew that she could not conceive naturally, given that she had gotten her tubes tied after her third child. She had been married before and was also a diabetic, so having more children was not the best idea. The couple did want to have one baby together, so they looked at their options and ultimately underwent IVF. They welcomed twin girls, Ja’Kharie Angie and Ja’Meikah Angella.
Viewers saw their gender reveal but did want to see their wedding as the couple got engaged. Moreover, they wanted to see the twins’ birth, but that has not happened as filming is still on hold. Regardless, Mackenzie shares her life in all aspects on social media. Recently, she posted her daughters getting their ears pierced, but it drew a lot of controversy. Khesanio was holding one of their girls, who was visibly screaming as another person (maybe Mackenzie) pushed a lollipop in the toddler’s mouth. The biggest issue was that they were being pierced with a gun and not a needle.
Teen Mom fans and followers understood why Mackenzie McKee would want to do this. She’s a girl mom, and she wants to have fun with them. However, they also felt that she should have waited until the twins could have consented to the piercing. Or she should have had them pierced with a needle rather than a gun, as that is deemed safer.
Just A Mom
The argument, even for those who felt the Teen Mom star was wrong, was that she is just a mom. She may have been wrong, but she was just having fun with her twins, and there was nothing wrong with that. By the same token, the look of terror and pain on her little one’s face was hard to watch:
- When I was 17 I got my second hole pierced and the gun got stuck in my ear. My husband and I got our daughters done when she was 3. Tattoo shops are the best. Personally I would never hold my child down for something like this.
- Those piercing guns are AWFUL for piercing.
- I think it’s stupid, it’s your kid not a fashion accessory.
- If they are upset and have to hold them down….shouldn’t be done.
- Not my kids buuut I wouldn’t have showed this to nobody…
