Maria Bartiromo made her exit from Fox News after over a decade working with the network. Since then, various media outlets have been weighing in on what may have happened behind the scenes. However, reports claim that Bartiromo recently took a surprising legal action to help set the story straight.
Maria Bartiromo Had Been Part Of Fox News & Fox Business For 12 Years
Bartiromo was known for her work with Fox News and Fox Business. She hosted shows including Mornings with Maria, Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street, and Sunday Morning Futures With Maria Bartiromo. Prior to her work with Fox, with whom she joined in 2013, she had been known for her work with CNBC and CNN.
However, in early September, it was announced that Bartiromo would no longer be working with Fox News Media. Her bio and show pages have also been scrubbed from Fox Media.

As previously reported, it was shared that Bartiromo’s programs would continue. However, many would be renamed and feature new anchors. At the time, many media outlets claimed that she was fired from the network. However, a new legal action by the journalist suggests that wasn’t the case.
According to Radar Online, Bartiromo recently hired Hollywood attorney Bryan Freedman to represent her. Notably, Freedman recently represented Justin Baldoni amid his legal war with former co-star Blake Lively.
Bryan Freedman Released A Statement Concerning Bartiromo’s Recent Exit
Currently, Freedman is also helping Freedman against claims that she was fired by the network. In a recent statement, he shared, “The irresponsible reports that have been published stating that Maria Bartiromo was fired or is no longer an employee of Fox are absolutely and unequivocally false.”
Freedman continued, “Make no mistake, we have the receipts and witnesses, and they will come out whether through the courthouse or otherwise. Those reporting her firing or the incredulous facts supporting that fiction have exhibited a complete and utter reckless disregard for the truth.”

Freedman also praised Bartiromo as a ratings success for the network. As he shared, “For many years, Maria Bartiromo hosted three number-one-rated television shows on Fox channels. She has been, without question, one of the hardest-working journalists throughout her award-winning career.” As noted by the outlet, Fox Business Channel has not yet responded to Freedman’s statement.
