Gutrectomy – New EP Out In May

To celebrate the band’s 15th anniversary, German slam/deathcore outfit Gutrectomy have announced a new EP. Titled Slamdown Is Not A Phase, Mom, the new material is scheduled for release on May 29th, 2026 with digital distribution handled by Arson Theory.

The EP was mixed and mastered by Simone Pietroforte, and features guest appearances from members of Guttural Slug, No Face No Case, and Nekropisser.

The band had the following to say about the new material: “After all these years of getting softer and softer, we decided that lyrics are trash and melodies are overrated. So we removed both.”
