There’s more to Jon Snow’s story, and Kit Harington will be reprising his role as the Night’s Watch Commander in a new spin-off. The series will take place after the events of the original Game Of Thrones series.
The last time viewers saw Snow, he was headed North of the Wall after killing Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).

The spin-off’s confirmation may come as a surprise in the light of HBO programming president Casey Bloys‘ previous stance on the series.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in 2019, Bloys was explicit in his disapproval of including Game Of Thrones characters in the spin-offs
Bloys said, “I don’t want to take characters from this world that they did beautifully and put them off into another world with someone else creating it. George has a massive, massive world; there are so many ways in. That’s why we’re trying to do things that feel distinct — and to not try and redo the same show. That’s probably one of the reasons why, right now, a sequel or picking up any of the other characters doesn’t make sense for us.”
The Snow spin-off is one of seven Game Of Thrones series currently being developed by HBO. The House Targaryen-centered House Of The Dragon is set to premiere Aug. 21. Other projects include The Sea Of Snake, 10,000 Ships, A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms, Tales Of Dunk And Egg and The Golden Empire.
