Today we sit down with rising artist and creative “Sideshow X” who’s been making big waves recently with his latest project “Mood Ring EP”.
We wanted to take a dive into the mind of Sideshow and see what new things we can learn about him. Give fans a deeper insight and perspective on you, as a whole.
1.) Q: What Made You Become An Artist? Or were you always an artist…
A: I was first inspired by lil wayne as a kid but my mom told me i sounded like a wanna be and that im not street enough to become a rapper. But when i was old xxxtentacion shower me i could do anything i wanted & inspired me to make music about my mental health.
2.) Q: Any upcoming projects or singles? That You Can Speak On..
A: I have an album & an EP im working on, as well as singles of course. As for the album i cannot speak on it too much or give a release date. Ill just say its related to childhood trauma that still effects me as an adult. The EP is about being slept on aka unappreciated. Pretty much how people always make me feel. Lastly, i have some singles comming out that talk about being you, betrayal from my film guy, & something to get lit too.
3.) Q: What’s your dream collab? Living or passed
A: My dream collab is xxxtentacion. I can relate to him very much. Lil uzi vert would be my other dream collab.
4.) Q: Tell fans something they may not know about you…
A: I love socks! Not just regular socks! Like socks with designs on them and they have to be long so they can be seen when i wear pants. I could literally get socks for Christmas or my birthday & be the happiest person alive 😂
5.) Q: What’s been the most impactful moment in your music career, so far?
A: The most impactful thing in my career is while working on songs for the album how well i put words together. A-lot of times i when i hear music from others I’m like damn they took the words right out of my mouth. How did they say it so perfectly “i wish i could do that.” On this album I’m working on i did just that. The creation of this album has been very impactful for me I’m learning a lot!
