Ancestor of Kaos play black metal that rocks. Or, rather, Ancestor of Kaos play black metal that thrashes on their new album, Animal Ritual, which the band self-recorded and will release later this week on Horror Pain Gore Death Productions.
The thing that stands out the most about Animal Ritual is the enthusiasm and aforementioned sense of rock-and-roll that Ancestor of Kaos bring to the table. Black-thrash is a genre where the bands can often blend together sonically, so the high-energy approach sets the band apart.
“Animal Ritual was recorded by ourselves here in Las Vegas,” Ancestor of Kaos tell Decibel. “We built a recording studio inside a warehouse so we could capture our sound in the purest and most authentic way possible and we are very thankful to Horror Pain Gore Death for trusting us. This is the story of a band who moved from Cuba to the United States to play black metal in freedom.”
With that context in mind, sink your teeth into Animal Ritual below.
