Metren, you brilliant b@$£*rd, you did it again. This is so fucking good, man! I love it!!!
Thank You so much! And an extra super huge thanks for posting the news!!! I’m so incredibly glad and relieved that you like the track! If there’s one thing I always fear regarding my music and my own attitude it’s the “buying into your own hype” mistake that even small-time artists like myself can make. I like “The Eternal Fires Of Bleakmoor” a lot myself and I am proud of it, but that was never a guarantee that it’s actually good. I’m feeling more confident now though
Apologies @everyone for the lack of an exact release date. I’m running a one-man-show here and since my construction job and personal life stuff always interferes with my creative process, I don’t want to (basically can’t) give an exact date.
Some more info about the track: it’s lyrics are about the importance of learning from the past (maybe that’s obvious LOL) without glorifying the past. It’s good to preserve the fire, but equally important not to worship the ashes. I actually came up with the middle section first and built the rest of the track around it. Perhaps it’s clear to many by hearing it, but the string-instrument that plays in the intro is not a violin, but a nyckelharpa. I don’t actually own a nyckelharpa or know anyone who does, so it’s a VST (Era II – Medieval Legends by Eduardo Tarilonte).
