Controversial Rapper DaBaby’s new apology comes after losing thousands in booking revenue. He was also removed from NYC’s upcoming Governor’s Ball, Day N Vegas, and the Lollapalooza festivals.
DaBaby apologizes once again for his defamatory comments about gay men and HIV.
Early Monday, the North Carolina rapper — who received a massive backlash after a homophobic rant — issued the 2nd apology.
“Social media moves so fast that people want to demolish you before you even have the opportunity to grow, educate and learn from your mistakes,” the statement read. “I want to apologize for my misinformed comments about HIV/AIDS and I Know education on this is important.”
He then signed the note: “Love to all. God bless. – DaBaby.” However, the backlash is expected to continue. We believe it will probably be long before Dababy can book another show at a high-profile event.
