Addison Rae’s debut album will be her first and her last.
The TikTok phenom-turned-rising pop star is gearing up to release her highly anticipated 12-track debut album, titled Addison, via Columbia Records on June 6.
Featuring lush production by Max Martin-signed producers Luka Kloser and Elvira Anderfjard, Rae’s upcoming record was largely inspired by Madonna’s iconic 1998 trip-hop album Ray of Light, which you can hear sonic whispers of on pre-release singles such as “Aquamarine” and “Headphones On.”

According to the album pre-order on her website, Addison will be the “first and last album by Addison Rae,” leading some fans to worry that the singer, who is just getting started, is already fixing to move on from her blossoming pop career.
Thankfully, that’s not the case.
While it’s true that Addison will be Addison Rae’s last album, technically speaking, it’s only because the social media breakout plans to drop the “Rae” from her stage name altogether moving forward.
After this record, she plans to just go by “Addison”—just like her idol, Madonna.
Rae teased the slight name change in her May 2025 cover story with Elle magazine, revealing that she plans to enter this next era of her musical journey with a mononym primed for pop superstardom in the same vein as Beyonce or Cher.
“I feel like I’ve surpassed Addison Rae. It’s just Addison now,” she shared.

Considering Rae’s full name is still so entwined with the fame she found as an influencer on TikTok over the past few years, it makes sense that the young artist would want a somewhat fresh start for her music career, which already shows so much pop promise.
She’s already collaborated with Charli XCX, released a banger electro-pop EP and even performed at Coachella and Madison Square Garden.
That said, whether she goes by Addison or Addison Rae, the future looks as bright as a “Rae” of light for the pop princess.
