Recording as AI-MAN, Casper Gottlieb is a 34 year old artist from Denmark, who manages to channel his very deepest emotions into music in his debut album, ‘A Father’s Truth Pt. 1’.
AI-MAN transforms his pain at being separated from his children, his 14 year old daughter and 13 year old son, into powerful melodies, in this the first of three heartfelt albums. The album trilogy serves as a way to solidify the memories he has, of love, loss, and hope, by way of poignant songs, that, despite being fine tuned with AI technology, nonetheless are able to convey the depths of emotion he feels.
‘A Father’s Truth Pt. 1’ was released on January 7, his daughter’s birthday, and is bravely authentic and unique. The 8 tracks are accompanied by a keyboard instrumental, with AI-MAN’s emphatically pouring out his entire heart into song. This is perhaps felt most of all in track 3, ‘Fading Echoes’, and track 4, ‘From Darkness To Light’, with references to the ages of the children, and demonstrating the sorrow he currently feels. There is nonetheless some hope in a brighter future – with lyrics such as “from darkness to light we’ll touch the sky”.
Penultimate track, ‘Healing Hearts’, continues this message of hope, with AI-MAN sharing that he always feels the love of his children, and keeps it in his heart, and together they will heal; he longs for the days when they can all be together once more united.
