Nathan Block at ProgPower USA has checked in with a new update on the festival’s 2025 installment, which runs from September 3 – 6 in Atlanta, GA.
“Dear friends,
After extensive consultation with the festival’s visa attorney, I am faced with the prospect that Fabio Lione’s visa would have a low chance of being approved due to the uniqueness of the set. This has been a strenuous period for both myself and Fabio.
Fabio and I have mutually agreed that Fabio Lione’s Dawn Of Victory will withdraw from this year’s festival rather than wait for weeks on end only to receive an expensive cancellation at the last minute. Fabio has agreed to try again in 2026 when hopefully the reviews will be somewhat more relaxed in a different climate. Barring any issues, Fabio Lione’s Dawn Of Victory is my first confirmed act for Day #1, 2026.
Fabio is currently traveling and will post his own response shortly. I am extraordinarily grateful to him and the rest of his fine band for their understanding of this situation, their hard work up to this point and their patience. They will put on an unforgettable show for you in 2026.
I am excited to announce the replacement headliner for ProgPower USA, Day #1 – Visions Of Atlantis. Please welcome them to the exciting Day #1 roster!
I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during this unprecedented time period.”

Visions Of Atlantis have issued the following statement:
“The Armada will take over ProgPower USA this fall! We are honored to bring our Armada Tour to Atlanta, which was out of our current US tour.
We’d like to extend our deepest respect and warmest wishes to Fabio Lione’s Dawn Of Victory: we’ll do our best to carry the torch!”
