“Changed” is Braxton’s first proper single release since her 2017 album, Bluebird of Happiness, which debuted at No. 4 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart and No. 14 on the Billboard 200.
While Braxton continues navigating her return to music, the singer also is making waves on television. She was recently announced as a new co-host of Dish Nation for its 12th season. Additionally, she stars in Peacock’s new reality series, Queens Court, alongside Nivea and Evelyn Lozada.
The dating show, hosted by couple Holly Robinson and Rodney Peete, follows the three women as they each find love.” Queens Court has ten episodes and is streaming now.
“One thing that I loved about my experience on #QueensCourtPeacock was the opportunity to see the growth in my girls and hear about some of the changes that they had to grow through,” Braxton wrote in an Instagram post about the show.
Braxton added, “So I dedicate this song to anybody who’s been through some sh*t in the name of love; then had to grow and change enough to honor themself when they realized it wasn’t love. On this journey, I’ve learned that change isn’t always bad. Sometimes it’s quite necessary for a healthy life.”
