Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour finally made a stop in the pop star’s hometown. While she also called her Nashville show a homecoming, being that the singer-songwriter is originally from West Reading, Pennsylvania, she graced the first of three sold-out nights in Philadelphia by saying, “You have ended up at my hometown show. I grew up right down the road.”
Swift brought her massive tour to Philly’s Lincoln Financial Field from Friday, May 12-Sunday, May 14 after taking the show on the road for several weeks, kicking it off in mid-March in Phoenix, AZ. On the first night of her Philly Eras Tour dates, in which she was joined by openers Phoebe Bridgers and Gayle, Swift lit up the stage with her epic, eras-spanning set list of over 40 songs. The singer-songwriter brought out opener Phoebe Bridgers to join her for “Nothing New” during the Red Era and added two surprise songs to the set, including “Gold Rush” off 2020’s evermore and Red deep cut “Come Back…Be Here,” which she said Bridgers requested she perform and play at the piano.
Alternative Press captured photos from the concert, which you can check out below.
