The settlement can serve as vindication for Mo’Nique, who received public criticism and took shots from Whoopie Goldberg, Steve Harvey, Kevin Hart, and Marlon Waynes, to name a few, on how she handles her business contracts and negotiations.
Monique announced the good news on Instagram page to her 1.2 million followers. Actor Isaiah Washington, Christianee Porter, and Brown Stone’s Lead Singer Nicci Gilbert, congratulated her on the major win.
There have been no other comments on the terms of the settlement; however, Mo’Nique’s attorney, Michael Parks, said, “The matter has been amicably resolved.” According to The Hollywood Reporter.
