Oasis have announced that their 2025 reunion tour is being documented for an upcoming concert film. Currently titled Oasis Live ‘25, it will be produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, the duo behind LCD Soundsystem’s concert film Shut Up and Play the Hits and the 2000s New York City music scene documentary Meet Me in the Bathroom.
A press release goes on to confirm that the Oasis concert film will be a Magna Studios production, the company whose credits include Beastie Boys Story, Gangs of London, and 20000 Days On Earth, among other music projects. No release date for Oasis Live ‘25 has yet to be shared, nor are there any further details made public.
After announcing their initial comeback shows, Oasis have steadily been scheduling reunion concerts across the globe, including in North America, the United Kingdom, South America, Ireland, and Australia. Unsurprisingly, demand for Oasis tickets has been remarkably high, which has resulted in ticketing issues for fans worldwide, and some tickets sold on resale websites being canceled due to price inflation.
Noel and Liam Gallagher keep dodging who is rounding out their live lineup this time, but NME claims to have gotten the scoop from a source: bassist Andy Bell, guitarist Gem Archer, guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, drummer Joey Waronker.
The 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame performer nominees were recently announced, and Oasis are once again up for consideration. Also in the running this year are first-timers Outkast and Phish, as well as returning nominees Joy Division, New Order, the White Stripes, Mariah Carey, and Soundgarden.
