Everyone always comes upon a crossroads where you have to choose one thing or the other. What do you choose? In Nied’s Hotel Band’s song “Take That Train”, the decision is between staying in a fiery relationship or sticking with the band and continuing to play music. It’s hard to choose between your passions, especially when one puts strain on the other, but I can’t think of anything more loyal and uplifting than music.
Like in the title, the singer tells her to “take that train” because he doesn’t want to give up his life of being in a band that means a lot to him. Nied’s Hotel Band is a stellar act, putting forth so much energy and passion into their music. It would be an industry tragedy to not be able to hear more music from these guys.
This song is funky and catchy, making some part of you move whether you want to or not. You can’t miss the jazz vibes either. So many captivating sounds are bound together in one rocking song that’ll be stuck in your head for days. Nothing beats the way music makes you feel, especially great songs like this one!
