Jon Vinyl is not one to stay away for too long. The Canadian singer has shared another new song titled “Entice Me” — and it is sure to do just that.
On the bouncy, guitar-laden cut, Vinyl finds it hard to fight the urge of rearranging his flight once his woman works her magic.
“I’m leaving in the morning / Might have to stay / Speaking to my body / It depends on what you say / You got me in the mood / Spark in’ a flame / I don’t think that I can wait another day,” Vinyl coos on the bridge.
“Entice Me” is one of three songs released from Vinyl this year. He shared “Don’t Care” in February, just two months ahead of “Favours,” which aligned him with fellow Canadian singer Avry.
“We feel the record echoes the aching familiarity when one realizes that their efforts are not being reciprocated, but they also find it too difficult to move on. We hope everyone enjoys it as much as we did making it,” Vinly says of his collaboration with Avry.
Viny’s next project is slated to arrive this fall. “Entice Me” is the first single, leaving us to wonder if the other two 2022 singles will make the tracklist.
The untitled effort will serve as the follow-up to Vinyl’s 2021 album Lost In You. The eight-track set included the previously shared “Stacy,” “Told You,” “Deflect” and “Void.”
“Crafting this project was the most vulnerable I’ve ever been with my artistry. To me, music is most beautiful when you push through the discomfort of raw emotions, take risks, and most importantly, take your time,” Vinyl shared of Lost in You.
