The second music video we present for Josie Cotton is ‘Day Of The Gun’, which sees her going through just an average day – albeit one featuring psycho bikers, bounty hunter priests, and kung fu killers – oh and the disembodied head of an ex.

It’s her USP. ‘Day Of The Gun’ also happens to be the title for her latest album, which was released in the spring, via Kitten Robot.
With clever vocals that float over a stripped back guitar and drum instrumental, Josie Cotton channels Debbie Harry, and the B-52s, while wearing a mile high beehive. Josie is on the run with her two best girlfriends, hunted by the likes of priests on a mission, motorcyclists wanting revenge, deadbeat boyfriends, and a slew of wannabe Bruce Lees. Our trio take to the highway, seeking justice, armed only with knives, badass attitudes, and their great hair. ‘Day Of The Gun’ is a bop and a half, and we challenge you to resist joining in with the melody and retro rhythms.
