Gwen Bunn is not low on new material. The emerging singer-songwriter has shared a new song titled “Put It On Me,” which she wrote and self-produced.
Bunn sings about taking the rap for the ups and downs that arise in a relationship on the whimsical track. Even though she knows who is truly at fault, Bunn sees the value in keeping the drama low if it will yield everlasting love. Now that’s a good sport.
She sings, “Blame it all on me / If it makes you feel better / Whatever it takes, oh / ‘Cause we all know the truth / Just like you / But if it’ll keep us together / It’s better this way.”
Bunn assured fans that a music video for “Put It On Me” is underway.
“Put It On Me” follows the March release of “2ManyThings“ and its supporting music video. There are no additional details to support if either release is linked to a forthcoming project. In February 2018, Bunn released the project Safe Travels.
Bunn’s biggest single up to this point is “Between The Lines,” which featured and sampled Faith Evans. The DaBlackMic-produced track has been streamed more than 4.2 million times on Spotify.
In August, Bunn will support her existing songs and gain more exposure when she joins Alex Isley’s Marigold Tour.
Bunn recently worked with Kenyon Dixon on “WYTD” from his latest album, Closer.
