GloRilla wants to be a mother one day, but sheâs not taking the traditional route. On Monday (Oct. 14), during a sit-down with Charlamagne Tha God for âOut Of Context,â the Memphis star revealed she plans on using a surrogate when the time comes.
When asked whether the âThis n**ga tryna get me pregnant, I need to tie my tubesâ line from her and Lattoâs âPROCEDUREâ was based on a real-life experience, GloRilla responded, âYeah.â As for how sheâd deal with being pregnant, the âWanna Beâ artist jokingly answered, â1-800.â
âI do want to have kids, but not my own kids. I want to do a surrogate,â she elaborated. âI want somebody else to have my baby. I want them to have my DNA, but I donât want to have it.â
âI just donât want to actually have a baby⦠All my friends have kids, and theyâre restricted a lot when theyâre pregnant. Iâm like, âNah, I donât want to go through that,ââ the rapper explained. Charlamagne Tha God later reminded her that pregnancies only last nine months, to which she replied, âThatâs too long.â
Elsewhere in their conversation, the âWanna Beâ artist opened up about working with Sexyy Red on âWHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME,â which sampled Boosie Badazzâs 2000s classic âWipe Me Down.â She detailed, âThe world [had been wanting] me and Sexyy Red to collab and s**t, so we had to make that happen. I was like, âOK, this is a fun song. This sounds like something she would get on.ââ
The pair seemingly has other records in the vault, too. âWe [were] in the studio working on something, and we actually did another song,â the Collective Music Group signee said.
âWHATCHU KNO ABOUT MEâ was one of the many standout cuts on GLORIOUS, GloRillaâs debut studio album. The 15-track collection, which also housed pre-release efforts âHOLLONâ and âTGIF,â boasted features from BossMan Dlow, Megan Thee Stallion, Kirk Franklin, Muni Long and T-Pain, among many others.
