With everything that has been going on related to these ongoing lawsuits, Garth Brooks’ youngest daughter recently spoke out, and she has been trying to put as much distance between herself and her dad in order to not get caught up in the negative news cycle.
Allie Colleen Brooks is the 28-year-old daughter of Garth Brooks, and she has her own music career as a young artist. However, rather than riding on the coattails of her famous name, Allie is looking to make it on her own, which also includes putting distance between herself and her famous father amid all of the ongoing lawsuit drama.
Allie Colleen Brooks recently had a conversation with Bobby Bones on his podcast, and she had plenty to say about putting distance between herself and her famous father. She said, “I’m just asking, more so the industry, to help me out, to not put me in that box…I’m not gonna fit in that box. They’re not gonna like me in there.”
She continued, adding, “I don’t represent [Garth Brooks] at all. So it’s just always been really tough when it’s like, ‘Garth Brooks’ daughter, Allie Colleen, doing this…’ Now, all of a sudden, everyone thinks ‘Friends in Low Places’ is gonna be in my set, and it’s not.”
