Ganser are back with a new EP, Nothing You Do Matters. To coincide with the announcement, the band dropped lead single “People Watching” and an accompanying music video.
The visual opens up on wide-open country, looking like a scene out of Fargo. However, things aren’t quite right as a shovel trails across the snow.
An ominous, propulsive beat makes its presence known as the band look around nervously and begin to dig a hole in the ground.
“Yeah the world is big, and nothing you do matters,” vocalist Nadia Garofalo sings from a grave while her bandmates — Alicia Gaines, Charlie Landsman and Brian Cundiff — shower her with dirt. By the end, Garofalo is completely covered.
Nothing You Do Matters is out digitally Oct. 5, with vinyl arriving Dec. 2. You can preorder the release here.
