Chris Brown received a special birthday gift (May 5) from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
His 2011 single “Look At Me Now,” featuring Lil’ Wayne and Busta Rhymes, has been certified diamond. The Diplo and AFROJACK-produced banger has sold over 10 million units in the U.S.
“Look At Me Now” was the second single from Brown’s fourth album, F.A.M.E., released in 2011. The song peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100. On the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, it spent seven weeks at No. 1.
“Look At Me Now” scored nominations for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance at the 54th Grammy Awards. Although he didn’t win in those categories, he did score his first Grammy trophy for F.A.M.E., which won Best R&B Album.
With his latest RIAA award, “Look At Me Now” marks Brown’s second diamond-certified record. In 2024, he scored his first diamond award for “No Guidance” featuring Drake.
As for Lil Wayne, the rap legend collects his fourth diamond certification while Busta Rhymes earns his first.
Brown is gearing up to headline his Breezy Bowl XX Stadium World Tour, which kicks off June 8 in Amsterdam. He will perform across Europe/the U.K., with stops in Hamburg, Manchester, London, Dublin, and more before wrapping up the first leg on July 5 in Paris.
The North American leg launches July 30 in Miami, making stops in Detroit, Washington, D.C., Toronto, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, and more before concluding Oct. 18 in Memphis. He will be joined by special guests Bryson Tiller, Summer Walker, and Jhené Aiko in select cities.
