Rising singer Cedric Brazle has shared his new single, “Rush.” It was produced by stevexcooper, who collaborated with him on his previous single “Product of Love.”
“Rush” is a haunting, guitar-laden track that finds Brazle insisting that he and his partner take a breath, slow down and appreciate the present moments.
“Pack light /We have a ways to go / Time waits for no man / You never know how it will unfold / Or where you’re really going / All I need is a moment / Show you I really want it,” Brazle sings.
Speaking on “Rush,” Brazle tells Rated R&B, “I wrote this song early on in 2020 during the pandemic. With the world being on a global shutdown, ‘Rush’ is about the desire for an intimate connection during a period that felt like time and human interactions were nonexistent; this song is a result of that feeling.”
“Rush” is the second single from Brazle’s upcoming EP, which is slated to be released in January 2023. Its accompanying visual will be released in the coming weeks.
In May, Brazle dropped “Product of Love” as the first single from his untitled EP, which is a continuation of his 2020 project, If I Knew Then…
His debut EP included the focus track “Mixed Feelings,” which had a corresponding visual directed by Gabe Sheffield.
