The tour of Blink-182 is set to begin in Mexico on March 11th in 2023 and there will be arena and festival dates in South America, North America, Europe and Oceania. The tickets will go on sale next Monday (Oct 17) at 10:00am local time. However, there is also an artist presale which has started today (Oct 12) at 10:00am local time. To get access to the artist presale, simply sign up to Blink-182’s mailing list where you should receive a unique presale code where you can buy the tickets early. Prices for the tour are yet to be officially revealed, but they are surfacing in pre-sales. One of the fans dropped a screengrab of the ticket-buying process and it has come to light that the tickets are quite expensive, with fans complaining on Reddit.
Blink-182 has a reunion
Tom DeLonge is officially back with Blink-182 and it seems Matt Skiba has been let go. The band has reunited with the classic line-up. It has been noted that a massive world tour and new music are planned for the future.
Travis Barker had seemingly teasing a Blink-182 themed reunion. The band, as we were last aware now consists of Matt Skiba, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker, but that doesn’t mean that we won’t be seeing a reunion of the original lineup featuring Tom DeLonge. There have been some small tidbits of easter eggs left for Blink fans like a re-issue of Tom DeLonge’s Fender strat which was made famous in his Blink-182 days. We will have to see if the lineup changes.
Jason Tate recently opened up the Blink-182 tour announcement this month in his last two newsletters. It has been noted that Tom DeLonge is trying to get Turnstile on tour. He also noted that October will be ‘fun’ as fans will witness releases from Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen, and The 1975.
Reports have emerged that Blink 182 is set to perform at Lollapalooza Brazil in 2023, likely with Tom DeLonge back. Lollapalooza Brasil 2023 is getting closer and fans are eagerly waiting for the official announcements. The event promises to have “the best line-up in the festival’s history” and it is quite possible that the three headliners have already been decided. Q101 has doubled down and stated that they were blowing Live Nation’s ‘nut’ on an upcoming Blink-182 tour announcement. Fans are speculating that a huge announcement will be made soon.
Amid this, it has come to light that blink182.com domain registration was updated recently which has added to the hype of the band’s reunion with Tom DeLonge. The updated site also has Sony Music Entertainment as label.
