When one door closes, another opens, and thatâs exactly the case for Cleotrapa. Azealia Banks announced that the âVon Dutchâ artist will join her for a performance at Terminal 5 on Halloween (Oct. 31), following a nasty fallout with Ice Spice earlier in the week.
âI don’t like how everyone is trying to make Cleotrapa look,â Banks wrote on Twitter on Wednesday (Sept. 4) before announcing the show. The rapper shared, âShe will be paid, have her own space to [do] glam, [and] whatever she wants on her rider because I have f**king respect and class.â The Staten Island native confirmed the news by quote-tweeting the post with a kiss mark emoji.
Banks also had some words for Iceâs manager, James Rosemond Jr., who claimed that Cleotrapa attempted to go âviral for cloutâ instead of settling her differences with the âDeliâ hitmaker privately.
âIce Spiceâs manager is a bird a** n**ga for trying to add insult to injury when a young girl is expressing how she feels. He’s trying to make Cleo look like an amateur when the fact that he’s even chiming in at all is ghetto, low-class, and a huge sign of having zero skin in the game,â read one tweet from Banks. A separate upload to the app contained a more personal jab: âHow about he get his artist some filler for those smile lines? She’s aging like f**king milk.â
For those who missed it, Cleotrapa and Iceâs issues stemmed from the formerâs alleged mistreatment throughout the âY2K! World Tour.â The bubbling star, who served as a supporting act, uploaded five TikTok videos on Monday (Sept. 2) claiming how she wasnât paid for the trek, was forced to change in bathrooms, and how her meals werenât covered.
Ice responded via Twitter Spaces, where she accused Cleotrapa of âcrashing outâ for likes and views. âI genuinely was trying to help her,â the Grammy nominee claimed.
