Australian born talent, Tayiha, continues to explore her sound in her latest release, “What I Needed”. Experimenting with production elements, as well as her vocal nuance, and lyrical discovery.
The Queensland Music Awards Finalist has a history of consistently pushing herself in order to create a unique sound of her own, and her newest release has her continuing her journey towards becoming the songwriter she dreams of being. Which is not too surprising in retrospect, since Tayiha wrote her first song when she was only eight. Ever since 2021, she has been releasing new music trying to slowly climb the mountain of the music industry.
The song itself borders on different pop styles such as those seen from the likes of Taylor Swift and Ellie Goulding. Having an underlying electronic beat mixed with its love centered lyrics, it creates a sound that is both similar, and yet unfamiliar at the same time. The upbeat song feels like a letter written for a younger Tayiha, but can pass as a driving song at the same time.
Fans of both pop music, and childhood memories will most definitely find a lot of love in Tayiha’s newest release “What I Needed”, found on all streaming platforms. Take a listen to “What I Needed” now on YouTube: https://youtu.be/G7gVArlZCjc
