Scott Weiland was known as many things. Take your pick between a legendary vocalist, a prolific songwriter, a true front man, or a force within the industry. Even though we may all remember him by all of the above; Scott Weiland’s family remembers him in a much more humanizing way.
It was over seven years ago now since we saw people such as Slash release statements on the death of Scott Weiland. In a touching tribute, Slash once wrote: “We are deeply saddened to learn of the loss of our old friend and bandmate, Scott Weiland. We experienced a good chunk of life with Scott, and even in his darkest times, we all had hope and love for him. His artistry will live on, of that there is no doubt.”
As Slash mourned to the public, he finished off by sending regards to the family of Weiland’s: “Deepest condolences and sadness are for his children, Noah and Lucy.”
Noah and Lucy are now older and have been able to properly form how they feel about the passing of their father which was untimely in any manner. As Noah Weiland continues in the musical footsteps of his father, Lucy Olivia has not forgotten her father at all as she shows in a recent Instagram post.
Though the Instagram post was very short – it was to the point and heartbreaking. Via Lucy’s Instagram post she wrote: “Happy Father’s Day. I miss you so much.” The caption was written with a photo of Scott Weiland eating what looks to be a piece of cake while posing for the camera with an umbrella raised over his head. The picture captures all of Scott Weiland and you can truly see into his aura in this photo.
We along with Lucy also mourn the passing of her legendary father.
