It’s hard to tell if ticket websites are getting worse or if there is just more of a focus on it now. Guessing that the first thought is true – Nikki Sixx has taken a bold stance against ticket websites such as Vivid Seats. This isn’t the first incident that has happened with a ticket website as Ticket Master has had fingers pointed at it for years while it also makes headlines yet again for messing with fan’s money.
In a recent Twitter post, a fan of Nikki Sixx directed a message to him in which the legendary musician responded to.
The fan said: “@NikkiSixx I was ready however got screwed when we bought tix from @VividSeats they said to DM them however they keep telling me that they can’t help us and we are out $779.17 for the DC date. Sucks that a company would do this during inflation. Take peoples money 4 no tickets.”
Nikki Sixx then quote tweeted this tweet seen above as he responded to the fan.
The following was said by Sixx: “I am so sorry a company would do this. I hope you get it sorted out.”
While it doesn’t seem that Nikki Sixx has directly helped out in this situation, hopefully this would ping Vivid Seats to do something or release a statement. Sadly, it doesn’t seem that Vivid Seats have acknowledged that anything has happened thus far.
Fans have rallied around the fan that this happened to as the comment section have also been very vocal about all of the issues that have been coming with ticket sites as there has been multiple occasions where fans have been shaken out of their hard earned money. Hopefully the fan in focus gets the help that they need about the situation at hand as there needs to be answers.
