R&B Trio CitiLimitz recently released two new visualizers for their recent singles, “The Most” and “If They Only Knew.”
Hailing from Chattanooga, TN, the trio—twins Marion and A.T. and their cousin Dre—grew up in a musical family, blending gospel, classic soul, and modern R&B into their unique sound.
Both tracks were produced by Grammy-winning hitmaker Troy Taylor, who has worked with Trey Songz, Aretha Franklin, and Whitney Houston.
“If They Only Knew,” has a nice contemporary R&B vibe to it that will have you bobbing your head.
The chorus says, “ Baby, if they only knew, about me and you/And all the things we do for love/ I make you feel brand new/Girl, you feel the same way, too/Baby if they only knew/Baby if they only knew/Baby if they only knew.”
All three group members take turns singing parts of the song. This song definitely gives spring/summertime vibes, which is perfect for the upcoming seasons. It’s an all-around feel-good song about love.
“The Most” has a trap/soul vibe with a slower tempo than “If They Only Knew.” The track has mesmerizing sounds with electric guitar sounds. It also has a Lofi vibe.
Think about when you really started feeling someone, and you’re falling asleep on the phone… that’s what this song talks about. You’re getting comfortable and getting to know one another-you’re in the honeymoon phase.
One of the things that stands out about this trio is that all three members get their time to shine again on this song. It’s not just one person singing the whole time.
The hook says, “Girl, you got me way to comfortable/ Got me open late night just for you/Cuz when we touching and kissing girl it’s serious/You give me out of body type experience/Got me getting way too comfortable./Got me doing the most/ I ain’t been myself lately.”
CitiLimitz also recently concluded a 10-city U.S. tour with Trevor Jackson. The rising group will release their debut EP later in 2025.
