Former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham posted a new photo on Instagram, “In the fifty two years I’ve lived in Los Angeles, I’ve never seen anything like the Eaton and Palisades fires. My heart goes out to all who’ve been affected by these tragedies. That said, we must all embrace the spirit of togetherness, compassion, and the resolve to rebuild. Photo Credit: Cara Robbins.”
He also recently wrote, “It has come to our attention that there has been a recent rise in fake social media accounts claiming to be Lindsey or members of his team, contacting followers and attempting to sell access to him in exchange for money. It hurts us to know that there are people in the world looking to take advantage of this community in that way.
Please note that communication from Lindsey and his team will only ever come from this official account. If you are approached in any other way, please be aware they are an impersonator. Importantly, Lindsey and his team would never attempt to solicit payment for personal access.
We are actively working to remove these scam accounts across all social media. In the meantime, your help is invaluable – every time you block and report a fraudulent account, you’re helping Lindsey’s community.
Stay safe.”
