Indie R&B crooners JeRonelle and Dende have joined forces for a new song “Right One, Wrong Time.”
On the emotive track, co-produced by Mike Hector and Billy Blunt, JeRonelle and Dende sing about the bittersweet feeling of encountering a potential partner at an inopportune time.
“You go your way while I’m going mine / Perfect balance is so hard to find / We can’t just get aligned / You’re the right one at the wrong time,” they sing in the chorus.
Speaking on his “Right One, Wrong Time,” JeRonelle explains, “It’s about having a deep connection with someone a coming to grips with the fact that timing and life’s complexities may not allow the relationship to flourish. It’s the kind of story that so many people can relate to, and I’m excited to share this vulnerable side of my artistry.”
“Right One, Wrong Time” is the follow-up to JeRonelle’s 2024 single “Alone.” In the year prior, he released his Regret & Reflect EP, which included his soul-stirring track “Stuck.”
As for Dende, the Texas native released his three-track EP Wish You Were Here in 2024. The mini project was inspired by a trip to the U.K.
