Holiday Single Review: David Martinez “Christmas In Corpus Christi”

South Texas multi- award winning recording artist David Martinez has unveiled one the most colorful new Christmas songs of the season entitled “Christmas In Corpus Christi.” The song is  up-beat, high spirited, and full of fun southern holiday extravaganza reminiscent in a Beach Boys sort of way. It certainly is not your average “Jingle Bells” but rather a refreshing way to rock Christmas.

Corpus Christi is located in South, Texas on the Gulf of Mexico, and is known for its beaches, and is sheltered by the Padre and Mustang Islands. “Christmas In Corpus Christi” offers the feel and vibration of the city, home to an enticing combination of sunny weather, southern attractions, and beautiful beaches. Anyone hearing the song would be tempted to visit. The song can be praised for its anthemic, raw energy and distinct regional identity.

The song is filled with a texture of rhythmic instrumentals, and Martinez’s supreme vocal style which follows his charted radio hits, “Come Back” and “Fast and Hard” and is a collaboration with songwriter Rick Hoefel.
