Southern Charm stars Craig Conover and Austen Kroll are popular for their on-screen bromance. One minute they are fighting the next they are partying together. Most recently the co-stars and best friends have announced that they are going into business together. Craig and Austen will be opening a bar named By The Way on King Street in Charleston, South Carolina. The much-awaited project is set to be opening to the public very soon. Craig And Austen’s Bar By The Way Opens Soon
Craig Conover and Austen Kroll are all set to expand their business empires with a new joint project. Their bar By The Way is opening soon in Charleston. The pair originally planned to launch the new business in the summer or fall of 2024. There have been delays to the project. Craig Conover teased fans that they would be opening in a timely fashion.
The new bar will be opening around the same time the new season of Southern Charm is set to premiere. Several sources have revealed that Season 10 will feature a high level of drama between Craig Conover and Austen Kroll. Opening a new bar probably didn’t help with the tension between the pair. Fans look forward to watching the drama unfold.
What Will ‘By The Way’ Be Like
Craig Conover and Austen Kroll’s latest project By The Way is set to open in December. The project is a collaborative effort between the two men and Uptown Hospitality Group. Uptown is responsible for some of Charleston’s most popular restaurants and bars. Craig Conover shared with Fans what to expect from the new establishment. He said…
“Charleston has grown so much in the last few years and brought in a lot of travelers, so we wanted to create a space where locals and travelers could hang out together and enjoy the neighborhood. It’s going to be a really intimate space. We put a lot of thought into the design to try and make it as warm and inviting as possible. We’re leaning into the local, upscale, tavern vibes, so the menu is going to have elevated bar fare and approachable cocktails.”
Craig Conover and Austen Kroll have worked really hard to bring this project to fruition. The bar will also have Austen’s beer brand Trop Top available. By The Way, is not the only business Craig and Austen share together. They also have several podcasts and Carriage House in NYC. Austen has said that he and Craig “Butt heads a lot.” He continued “We have to be careful because we’ve got (businesses) It’s definitely put stress on our relationship — but it also pulls us through a lot of things.” Hopefully, the pair will overcome their drama and open By The Way on time.
