The song features the iconic beat of legendary DJ Joe Smooth and promises to shake musical sensibility as we know it. Irene is a glamorous, spicy song couture unafraid and unapologetic when it comes to expressing and experiencing diverse styles of music and even inventing her own.
“My Heart” is a driving, dancing, electric force with splashing repetitive beats that rule the song. Irene undeniably owns this track and wishes to share it with the wider world. It’s addictive, and fun and the more you hear the more it becomes your own personal cocaine. With this song the 79 year old house music queen has created her own spirit and brand.
Irene began her House Music journey on the iconic Chicago TRAX label with her first, multi award winning song “I Like Rain.” Last year it won song of the year at the prestigious indie Josie Music Awards and this year it’s nominated again. She will also be performing at the JMA this Saturday October 26 in celebration of their 10th anniversary which takes place inside the CMA Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum. The song also won the Get Out Magazine Award for her contribution for house music.
“My Heart” will release as a radio version and an extended EDM version and will be available to stream on all digital platforms. You will also be able to dance to it in the nightlife clubs everywhere.
